Purpose
To introduce learners to the aspects of human communication.
Course content
A history of human communication: early modes of communication. Mass communication the communication process: perceptions, meaning, identity. Functions of communication. Communication modes: non-verbal communication, language and communication, listening. Communication contexts: interpersonal communication, small group communication, public speaking; mass communication. Foundations of Communication; Communication & Perception; Theories of Human Communication; Cultural and Intercultural Communication; AI and Human Communication:
